About me.
Jacob Goldberger was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. He will graduate from The University of Florida in Spring 2023 with a BFA in Theater Production with an emphasis in Lighting Design.
Currently, as a Senior in my Bachelor of Fine Arts Undergraduate Degree at The University of Florida, I take pride in helping other students during class time or expanding my knowledge with outside research on projects. Throughout my undergraduate career at the University of Florida, I have had the pleasure of serving as both a Lighting and Digital Media Designer, Shop Electrician, and, most recently, in Production Supervisory roles on various productions at The School of Theatre & Dance.
Now more than ever, theatre is needed in the world, as it opens us up to outside perspectives that we may not be aware of while also fostering social discourse, dialogue, and social change. As someone who has personally experienced the transformative healing that theatre can provide, I look forward to increasing both my ability and my opportunities to share this with others.
His love for the arts, alongside his ability to learn and solve issues in a timely manner, will make him a great addition to any team.
